Description

Patient Navigator Fundamentals is a three-day in-person course with an online course component designed to improve your patient navigation skills. Topics in this comprehensive "Level 1" training include patient communication, health promotion, professional conduct and motivational interviewing. Don‘t miss this opportunity to network with other patient navigators!

  • Health literacy
  • Introduction to motivational interviewing

Please Note: To receive a certificate of completion for this course you must attend and actively participate in the entire program of training (online and face to face). Before class begins, you must also complete online “pre-work” activities to prepare you for small group discussions and other learning activities.

Cost

The cost is $500 for Colorado residents and $750 for out of state participants.

Please note our refund and cancellation policy:

  • If you are unable to attend the course, you must cancel your registration at least 14 days (2 weeks) before the first day of training in order to receive a full refund.
  • If you cancel with less than 14 days (2 weeks) notice, you will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
  • To cancel, you must send an email to admin@patientnavigatortraining.org.
  • No-shows will not be granted a refund.
  • Refunds will be issued on the original card used for payment OR as a credit toward a future course. 

Please note: The PNTC requires a minimum number of students registered to hold a course. If the minimum enrollment is not reached 10 days prior to the course date, the course may be cancelled. Participants will be notified via email and registrations will be refunded in full.
