To provide Colorado public health professionals who conduct communicable disease case investigations with the opportunity to practice communication skills vital for any communicable disease interview.
Prior to the training, participants will be sent materials to review in preparation for the Skills Lab. During this 3-hour online workshop, participants will:

Communicable Disease Skills Lab Participant Manual (provided) - The Participant Manual includes a copy of the Colorado Shigellosis Case Investigation Form, which will be used for one of the skills practice sessions. More information on this pathogen can be found on the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Communicable Disease Manual website. A brief overview of this pathogen will be shared during the training.
