Who This Workshop Is Ideal For

This workshop is designed for all researchers, health professionals, community stakeholders and others looking to increase the use of evidence-based practices in clinical healthcare settings.

Workshop Rationale

Dissemination and Implementation research (D&I) has made notable progress in expanding the use of evidence-based practices in clinical healthcare settings. This brown bag lunch series will discuss opportunities to expand and apply these strategies to community-based settings, drawing from research and practice-based experience.

  1. A featured topic discussion and application to community settings for D&I research - Capacity Building in Community-based Settings: Examples and Lessons Learned (30 minutes)
  2. Discussion of works in progress (30 minutes)
