The 3rd Annual Shared Risk and Protective Factors Conference will be held at Keystone Conference Center in Frisco, CO, May 29-31st, 2019.

Open registration is now open on a first come, first served basis until full!Please ensure email entered in bulk registration is valid. We encourage registering through individual registration process when possible, which requires a unique email to set-up account.

If registering as an individual, please ensure the email on the account used is that of the attending participant or use bulk registration instead and provide email of person being registered for conference. Individual registration is limited to accountholder only; attempts to register multiple people under single account using "Register Now" will overwrite previous entry.


As prevention professionals, you have likely seen issues that are common​ among the youth, families and communities you work with - issues like poverty, families dealing with substance abuse, and youth who are not connected to or do not feel safe at school. We often refer to these issues as "shared risk and protective factors". This conference focuses on learning and implementing ​strategies that take ​a shared risk and protective factor approach to prevent multiple forms of violence, injury and substance abuse​, helping ​multiple programs and agencies​ achieve their desired outcomes​

This conference draws young people and adults who are engaged in creating connected communities and safe, healthy, and successful youth. Attendees include adults and young people working with nonprofits and government agencies from across Colorado including stakeholders of the following:

Conference Cost:

Registration is $200 for adults and $50 for young people under 25. Presenters will receive a 25% discount on their respective registration fee. Registration includes the following meals, Day 1: Lunch and Evening Networking Reception; Day 2: Breakfast and Lunch; and Day 3: Breakfast and Lunch.

Hotels for the conference at Keystone Resort & Hyatt Place Keystone are available at the discounted rate of $109/night for 1-bedroom, $139/night for suites, and $189/night for 2-bedrooms. All rooms are subject to a $17 resort fee and 5.9% surcharge. Book early to guarantee availability.

Book early for best available rooms and you are able to receive the conference discounted rate for 3-days pre/post conference, pending room availability.

Note: There is a $50 refundable hotel deposit required at time of reservation. The remaining balance will be charged 24 hours before the conference occurs to the card on file.
