2019 Public Health Advocacy Talks (“PHATalks”)

In celebration of National Public Health Week 2019, the Colorado Public Health Association, the Colorado School of Public Health and Presenting Sponsor, The Colorado Health Foundation are once again sponsoring Public Health Advocacy Talks. This collection of brief, 8-minute talks on a wide variety of public health advocacy topics will introduce you to new ideas, provide you with new insights, and ignite your passion for creating a healthy Colorado.

 The PHATalks will:

• Expose public health professionals, students and stakeholders to the breadth and depth of public health work.
• Educate and equip participants to dialogue and advocate with others on a variety of relevant public health topics.

The 2019 PHATalks include health equity, affordable housing, opioid crisis, public health policy, tobacco, maternal child health and MORE!

This event is open to students, public health professionals, public health partners and stakeholders.

Lunch will be provided.

• Parking: Allow yourself an additional 15 minutes to park, pay for parking and locate the building. Parking is $1/hr. 

PHATalks will also be live-streamed by the Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center to ensure professionals from across Colorado can enjoy this event. Upon registering, you will be provided a link to watch the live event on April 3^rd.
