Description

REGISTRATION & WAITLIST ARE NOW FULL.

The 2nd Annual Shared Risk and Protective Factors Conference will take place in Keystone, CO, May 30-June 1, 2018.

As prevention professionals, you have likely seen issues that are common among the youth, families and communities you work with - issues like poverty, families dealing with substance abuse, and youth who are not connected to or do not feel safe at school. We often refer to these issues as "shared risk and protective factors". This conference focuses on learning and implementing strategies that take a shared risk and protective factor approach to prevent multiple forms of violence, injury and substance abuse, helping multiple programs and agencies achieve their desired outcomes.

Keynotes for 2018 conference include: Renee Canady, PhD, CEO of the Michigan Public Health Institute; John Gailer with the National Dropout Prevention Center, and Tay Anderson, former Candidate for Denver Public Schools Board of Education. Full agenda coming soon...

Registration fee includes: Lunch and Evening Reception with Hor D'oeuvres and Cash Bar on May 30th; Breakfast and Lunch on May 31st; and Breakfast and Lunch on June 1st. Dinners are on own and information about dining options available during conference at Keystone will be coming soon. Making reservations are encouraged.
