This online module explores the early stages of the policy process and introduces a model for a coalition structure intended to achieve a specific local policy goal.  This online course is available free of charge and can be accessed at any time.

1. Explain the difference between a traditional community coalition and a strategic policy coalition.
2. Define the structural components and membership levels of a strategic policy coalition.
3. Identify and partner with community organizations that represent burdened populations.
