This online module discusses tobacco use as a chronic disease, and explores the health systems changes that the public health workforce can influence in order to improve tobacco control outcomes.  This online course is available free of charge and can be accessed at any time.

  2. Understand evidence-based practices, strategies, and interventions for tobacco cessation.
  3. Explain what “health systems” means and why they are important for tobacco control.
  4. Understand public health’s role in facilitating tobacco use health systems change.
