Priority Registration - 2 individuals per organization, per Colorado funding stream below - will be open from February 25 - March 10th. Open registration will begin March 13th until capacity is reached. There will be a waitlist after registration cap is reached.

Registrations are transferable one-to-one, until May 1st; cancellations are non-refundable. Transfers are allowed until May 8th, then you will have to reach out to Garrett about any changes to registered participants.

Registration fee will be $250 for adults and $50 for young people 24 years old and under. Discounts will be provided for session and poster presenters.

The Shared Risk and Protective Factors Conference attracts adults and young people from across Colorado actively engaged in upstream or primary prevention efforts at the state and local level. By applying a ‘shared risk and protective factors’ lens, we can positively impact young people through reducing risk behaviors and increasing protective factors in the family, school, and community. This conference recognizes the importance of health equity and seeks to incorporate discussion of health equity in all sessions. This event aims to strengthen collaboration efforts across organizations and funders; build skills to enhance implementation of evidence-based prevention practices, policies, and programs; and highlight successful efforts of community-led coalitions.


This conference is intended for people currently actively engaged in creating connected communities and safe, healthy, and successful youth using a shared risk and protective factor upstream prevention approach, including stakeholders of the following grant programs:

Conditions: There is a $50 deposit charged upon making reservation. The credit card on file is automatically charged for final payment 24-hours prior to arrival. Reservations can be cancelled 24 hours outside of the arrival date with no penalty ($50 deposit refunded). Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival date will result in forfeiture of entire reserved stay including tax and resort fee.  Reservations are non-refundable for cancellations within 24 hours, no-shows, late arrivals or early departures.

Book early for best available rooms and you are able to receive the conference discounted rate 3-days pre/post conference, pending room availability.

Note: There is a $50 refundable hotel deposit required at time of reservation. The remaining balance will be charged 24 hours before the conference occurs to the card on file.

Wednesday, May 27th: Grantee Meetings (times vary); Youth Gathering; Select Trainings and Sessions in morning and afternoon

Thursday, May 28th: Welcome Breakfast with Keynote; Sessions 9:45am-4:15pm with optional evening activities

Friday, May 29th: Breakfast; Sessions 9:00am-11:30am and Closing Lunch

Meals provided with registration are Lunch: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; Breakfast: Thursday and Friday. Some grantee meetings will provide breakfast Wednesday morning; check with funder if you will need to budget for that meal before conference.
