Description

Level 1: Health Navigation Fundamentals is a three-day in-person course with an online course component designed to improve your patient navigation skills. Don‘t miss this opportunity to network with other navigators!

  • Health promotion
  • Assess patient readiness to change

  • Introduction to motivational interviewing

Please Note: To receive a certificate of completion for this course you must attend and actively participate in the entire program of training (online and in person). Before class begins, you must also complete online “pre-work” activities to prepare you for small group discussions and other learning activities.

Please note: PNTC requires a minimum number of students registered to hold a course. If the minimum enrollment is not reached 1 week prior to the course date, the course will be canceled. Participants will be notified via email and registrations will be refunded in full.

Refund and cancellation policy:

  • If you are unable to attend the course, you must cancel your registration at least 14 days (2 weeks) before the first day of course in order to receive a full refund.
  • If you cancel with less than 14 days (2 weeks) notice, you will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
  • To cancel, you must send an email to admin@patientnavigatortraining.org.
  • No-shows will not be granted a refund.
  • Refunds will be issued on the original card used for payment OR as a credit toward a future course. Refunds are subject to a $15 credit card processing fee.
