Contact Tracers, Case Investigators, and Resource Coordinators are in need of relevant de-escalation skills to adequately navigate difficult conversations they routinely encounter. Difficult conversations are very common when people approached with any information that opposes their point of view or lifestyle. During this webinar, we will take a look at what is important to know about this type of interaction and how to manage these encounters more effectively. We hope to help you can some distance between what may be your automatic responses and your more thoughtful, skillful responses.
This webinar will be presented by Jeanice Hansen, LCSW, OSW-C. Jeanice has spent the last 22 years of her social worker career supporting and assisting patients and their families facing cancer throughout the continuum of their diagnosis. Jeanice formerly served as the Cancer Support Services Manager at St. Joseph Hospital Cancer Centers of CO in Denver and lead an initiative to standardize oncology social work practice and other supportive services across 8 oncology care sites in Colorado and Montana.
