CoE Webinar Series

The Integrated Food Safety Centers of Excellence (CoEs) are pleased to announce an upcoming webinar in their series exploring the range of available CoE tools and services that may be useful for partners at all levels of foodborne outbreak response.
The webinar, entitled Applying Model Practices in Outbreak Response, will be presented on June 20th at 2 pm EDT.  Epidemiologist Hillary Booth from the Oregon CoE will discuss CIFOR model practices and how the Oregon CoE applies these to their own investigations.  The presentation will cover direct application of tools that the CoEs have developed to help jurisdictions of all sizes respond to outbreaks as efficiently as possible.  This will be a chance to talk about not only what is recommended, but also what has worked to help streamline outbreak investigation.  Jurisdictions that have partnered with Oregon to enhance outbreak response measures will also highlight some of their challenges and successes.
This is the final webinar in our 5-part series which included presentations on a variety of CoE resources and expertise that may be of assistance to state and local jurisdictions.  In addition to showcasing some of the many resources the CoEs can provide, the webinars provided an opportunity for discussion of timely topics to help develop critical investigation skills.
Previous webinars in the series may be found on the Colorado CoE’s YouTube channel:
