Mobile health (mHealth) refers to the use of mobile and wireless devices to improve health outcomes, healthcare services, and health research. This rapidly growing, fast-paced field can involve the use of mobile applications, mobile communications, mobile sensors, mobile devices, and/or mobile data.
Join the Integrated Food Safety Centers of Excellence for two one-hour webinars as we discuss the various ways mHealth is being integrated into enteric disease case investigations. Topics will include successes, lessons learned, and challenges to implementation. Participants will have ample time for questions.
The number of jurisdictions exploring and implementing online surveys for enteric disease case investigation is rapidly increasing. Because surveillance systems and interviewing protocols vary by state, online systems, their set up, and operation also differ. This webinar will give participants the opportunity to hear about the experiences and lessons learned from four states. Ample time will be reserved for participants to ask questions of the panelists.
